There are many places around the Bayham area that are great to visit and offer opportunities for interesting day trips.
Our neighbouring County of Norfolk includes the cities and towns of Long Point, Point Rowan, Turkey Point, Port Dover, Langton, Delhi, Simcoe, and Waterford. Norfolk County shares, with Elgin County, the Erie Shores Wind farm which, is situated between the two counties. Norfolk County makes an interesting detour when traveling towards Bayham.
Minutes Northeast of Port Burwell is the City of Tillsonburg. Tillsonburg holds amusement for visitors such as the Tillsonburg Water Park, which makes a convenient and fun day trip for everyone. This small city also offers a shopping centre that makes it a great place for Bayham residents to shop and spend the day.
West of Tillsonburg is the Town of Aylmer. Aylmer is a small town in which a Tuesday Farmers Market is held where articles such as furniture, and produce can be bought at a great value. Aylmer is a lovely place to visit on route to places such as Port Burwell, Vienna, and Straffordville.
West of Port Burwell on the lakeshore are the beaches of Port Stanley. Just north of Port Stanley is the City of St. Thomas. St. Thomas is home to the Railway Museum and has a shopping centre that makes it convenient for the Bayham residents to shop at their favourite stores on their way home from a day at the beach.
